When Azarion and Eliona attacked Kaldaryn City, Xoh’Tenol warned Kaelion and contacted Nahm, whose intervention helped him escape. During the later journey through space, Kaelion’s contact with the Meridian obelisk injured them both. Xoh’Tenol became unresponsive, then recovered her voice hours later. She helped him aim a solar spear against the alien fleet after their approach to Proxion restored her strength.
After returning to Valrindor, she rescued Eliona from the site where Myrelia’s body was releasing a vast essence explosion. She and Nahm shielded the escaping group. Back in Chronasis, Alistair demanded that the gods take human forms. Hrzai helped Xoh’Tenol copy Kaelion’s body in a female form, and Cassian permanently severed her connection to the God Realm.
She stayed close to Kaelion and Eira as she adjusted to life outside the shard. Attempts to fuse back into his palm failed. After a shared vision left her and Kaelion bleeding, Eira took them to Thalena for examination. She later returned to Tequaltor, where the citizens recognized and worshipped her, before going back to Chronasis.
Thalena’s Shores of Eternity
In Thalena’s Shores of Eternity, Xoh’Tenol shielded Kaelion when a Spiral Mandate beam killed him. She followed his Malverand heart and sun core into space, then lay dormant for more than a century while holding them. Thalena restored her essence, and she later made a pact with Nahm. She accepted a final sacrifice to protect Valrindor: Thalena removed her sun core, and her body dissolved. Her core and Kaelion’s were used to shield the world.
