Viviana uses the burning frost crystal with the obsidian being who becomes Pyrathalor, triggering an eruption that destroys Radiance Prime's construct industrial district and collapses the Spire of Triumvirate.

Viviana and Gren accompany Aurelia to the Council Citadel, where Aurelia offers Ozaith a child carrying Abraxas's stolen power; Ozaith accepts the child as his and promises aid after the birth.

Helena Hyperion is born.

After years of rebuilding Brighthaven, Alistair leaves to find a way to protect the nation. His search leads him to Arcanis Village, where the buried half-circle gate puts him in contact with the entity later known as Oktlix, and he builds hollow-body artifacts that let his body phase in and out.

Helena Hyperion is five years old in Ishtanûr, missing Aurelia before her magic awakens.

Helena (age 7) awakens her temporal magic. She is assigned a new teacher, Alistair Toss.

Helena (age 9) meets Sariel, the exiled prince of Malverand.

After Nadun leaves Ishtanûr for the war over the source, King Ranan, Queen Nuvyra, and Sharuzh ambush him at Myriandel, falsely blame Abraxas for his death, and use Nadun's murder to mobilize Ulzathir and Myrravel toward the source. Ozaith confirms Nadun's death to Helena the following year as he prepares to choose a new wielder.

Ozaith deems Helena (age 11) not strong enough to be his wielder, and Alistair's lessons become increasingly abusive.

Helena (age 13) calls for Sariel when Alistair tries to take her from Ishtanûr; Sariel arrives to kill Alistair and leaves Ulzathir with her.

Helena (age 16) lives with Sariel on a small farm near Haverloch's capital, studies temporal magic, and decides to serve Jarin through the Axial Concord.

Helena (age 17) earns a perfect score on Jarin's symmetry trials and enters the Axial Concord under his oversight; Jarin is Jareth, a dying atraxi seeking freedom from Jorhan.

At Arcanis Village, Jareth takes Helena to the Varnhallow temporal bubble, has her stabilize his atraxi illness, and asks for her help escaping Jorhan before bringing her to Rimvold.

Jarin brings Helena Hyperion to Rimvold, where she meets Thalion Zenith, proves her temporal talent under Sylvia's test, and swears to serve the Order of Thalion Zenith.

Zero, Mia, Jarin, Helena, and other Order mages attack Morindel in Jeremiah's colors to implicate him, drawing Eremion into pursuit as they flee.

Jeremiah's and Uriandel's fleets and ground armies meet near Crosford, trading shielded volleys until the front lines clash.

Thalion's forces strike from Jeremiah's side, using skyship beams to tear into Uriandel's lines. Isandriel openly shields Uriandel's army and earns his trust.

Thalion's group breaches Jazarel Lake with earth, ice, and balance magic, releasing a colossal flood toward Jazarel City and the surrounding guardian armies.

At Jazarel, Eremion clashes with Raphael. Jeremiah and Uriandel fight near the flooded city. Thamrielle intervenes near Zero and Mia by raising a volcano.

Helena's deaths repeatedly trigger an unknown reversal spell, forcing Thalion to relive the Jazarel Battle and search for an outcome that saves her, Zero, and himself.

Mia dies after using aether magic to hold Helena out of Thamrielle's lava path. With Helena alive, the reversal loop ends.

Thalion and Isandriel stop Thamrielle and take her alive. Isandriel disintegrates Uriandel and Jeremiah. Raphael and Eremion escape.

Thalion brings Sephara to drought-stricken Thundermarch, where they summon rain and announce Tianlei's rebirth to the villagers.

During a Crosford diplomatic mission, Helena, Benedict, and Sylvia encounter Raphael; after he kills Benedict and Sylvia, Helena triggers her abyss, returns to before the meeting, warns them, and Sylvia flies their skyship back to Rimvold.

Thalion's Order intercepts Raphael and Eremion before they reach Isandriel: John and Ignatius destroy Raphael at Maraveth. Kallion and Zero trap Eremion in a singularity and summoned sun near Morindel. When Abraxas intervenes with origin magic and repeated resets, Thalion accepts Ozaith's pact and pulls Abraxas into a space-time rift.

Thamrielle abandons the expedition to claim the source and revive Barachiel. Viviana exposes that Aurelia sought to take the source for Myrravel and create more mages like Helena, then kills her. Abraxas interrupts Isandriel's victory over Thamrielle, kills her, steals the source, and severs Tal'Massar from Isandriel.

After years searching near Lirathen, Eira widens the timerift to Earth, finds Abraxas and Thalion, and brings them back to Erenmyr through the rift.

After returning from Earth, Eira, Thalion, and Abraxas force open the future Thundermarch passage and briefly meet Isandriel from the other side. Passing through Jorhan's darkness-wall veil strips Abraxas of his memories and magic, leaving him effectively mortal. Isandriel receives a warning to prepare for Eremion's eventual return.

After reuniting with Kallion in Stormbrook, Eira leads Thalion's group to Maraveth, opens the Malverand vault, and places the others into temporal stasis. Ozaith remains awake to monitor them.

After the Order enters the Malverand vault stasis plan, Eira and Thalion remain in Ishtanûr until 2121 AX. Ozaith investigates Ulzathir's fractured leadership, rejects the nation as his home, and considers whether its later tyrant is a new or impostor god before returning to keep the vault-watch bargain.

Helena arrives in Pyrenis, enters its military under Decimus, secretly destroys Malverand records, and topples Ozaith shrines to weaken his worship.

Helena settles in Terranova, becomes involved with Aevandros, accidentally kills him during intimacy, and begins returning to the jungle at night to release her grief through destructive magic.

In the Terranova jungle, Helena meets Flavian, a farmer with untapped fire affinity who refuses to fear her; she joins his village, teaches him magic, and builds a life with him. After choosing to have a child, she uses temporal magic to speed the pregnancy and names their son Ignatius, who later becomes Pyrenis's archon of fire.

After weeks in Rahmavir, Alistair leaves amid collapsed diplomacy with Myrravel and the Oracles over the source, a vanished Rahmavir army after Rahmavir strikes the Oracles, and Rahmavir's preparations for a final assault to seize the source.

Helena arrives in Chronasis, avoids lasting emotional attachments, continues destroying Malverand history, takes lovers, and becomes skilled at manipulating the desires and weaknesses of Thalassai's elite.

Zal'therak comes to Malcairn in Maraveth, and the remnants of Malverand submit to him in hopes of surviving the darkness.

With Zal'therak's guidance, Malcairn and Zharrek develop essence infusion beneath Maraveth, and Malcairn survives the first full infusion.

Zharrek and his scholars trap Zal'therak in a crystalline prison so they can continue creating essence-infused shapers from people.

Zharrek's scholars transform Malverand's remaining citizens into essence shapers; those who refuse leave, the darkness recedes, and old Malverand fades into Shroudvale.

Helena searches Valrindor for Isandriel/Isaac, detours into Varnhallow's temporal bubble near Arcanis Village, and flees after two white-clad mages attack her.

The human nations of Valrindor unite, defeat Zharrek's shapers in the Great Shaper War, and construct a massive wall to contain them.

Helena becomes a Chronasis architect through Pyrrhus, who later betrays her to archon Kairessa over the destroyed Malverand records. Helena kills them and the officials, destroys the surviving record, sets Thalassai's regions against one another, drains dead from the Internal Thalassai War, and builds a hidden army from survivors.

Thalena crosses from Earth into Erenmyr, meets Hrzai/Xelthys, and studies divine magic with Hrzai and cosmic magic with the giant frogs.

Knowledge of the cycles, storms, darkness, and lands beyond Xalmyrra reaches Kaldramir Kaldaros in Varentis, unintentionally sparking the War of Scars across Xalmyrra.

Thalena ends the War of Scars by riding Glin above the armies, pinning them in place with overwhelming power, forcing peace, and beginning the legend of Arcanis, Conqueror of Heaven.

Thalena's trained army ends the Internal Thalassai War, after which she wins office in Terranova, enters Chronasis as an advisor, and becomes archon of Space and Time.

Thalena writes The Eleven Stories of Old again for Eira. Other copies are already appearing across the world.

Deylin Varos blinks through the void as a dying Xalmyrra collapses, reaches Erenmyr, and later has Eira with Ilyra.

Eira is born to Deylin Varos and Ilyra Caedris. The old mage takes her to Irrathis, where Aldar Rehn later takes charge of her away from the Imperial Institute. A golden creature guides young King Aurion toward enlightenment.

After finding the Heart of Oblivion in the Land of Darkness, Eira Caedris enters the Temple of no Return, claims the spiral shard, and emerges with a persistent spiral mark and darkness magic.
