Hadrian helped Aelius and Jin Leiyun regain their strength after they returned from the past. He and Anshar led the invasion of Solvarria, taking the nation by surprise and cutting its trade routes with Ulzathir. Hadrian warned Cassian when Zain's forces flew toward Pyrenis and recommended withdrawing from Solvarria.
After the essence detonation in the Pyrenis region, Hadrian planned a full takeover of Ulzathir and selected legati in Chronasis with Jin. He organized the fleet's advance on Ishtanûr and kept air and aether mages ready to carry people away if another essence bomb appeared. He warned Aelius to be wary of the man posing as Aldar.
