During the fighting in Ulzathir, Astryx ferried Ilyra to the wounded. While scouting, he saw Alistair's true form beneath his disguise as Aldar and confronted him. Alistair caught Astryx as he tried to blink away, struck him into a cosmic beam, and killed him. He subsequently impersonated Astryx to enter Stella Aeterna.
