Recovery of Rimvold
Zain's forces later occupied Rimvold. Thorik and Bjarnholt's troops joined Virel's army from Haverloch and Morozkaya in an assault on the city. Gabriel and Ishqari engulfed the battlefield in a blizzard. Maric defeated Gabriel's manifestation, but Zain's counterattack forced the allies to retreat. Thorik and Leif subsequently reclaimed Rimvold and began restoring Skarnheim.
Sigurd chose to retire rather than return to Skarnheim. Silas told Leif that his father would not be coming back and acknowledged him as the new king. Thorik returned to Stormhaven, leaving Leif to govern Rimvold with Halgarr's help.
