Overview
Xandor Morvayne is a former high arbiter of Teryndal and a senior official in Teryndal's Assembly. He is Xarion's father, Xirane's grandfather, and keeps the Assembly functioning through Xarion's absences alongside Sarine and Naryon. He handles Teryndal's administration, trade, council business, and emergency planning.
Skills and Work
Xandor is a leading Xalmyrran enchanter. During the northern coastal defense, he enchants Teryndal's finest mages before the invading fleet reaches land.
His strongest recurring work is administration. He handles laws, resource distribution, meeting minutes, signatures, archive checks, election planning, military mobilization, and the daily paperwork of Teryndal. Xarion relies on him in Valcirae's school archives, where Xandor locates recent ink in Lythariel's file.
History
The current Xandor is the later cycle counterpart of Xandor (Founder), a previous-cycle Xandor Morvayne who was high arbiter during old Xalmyrra's collapse and later founded Aurivallis. The founder lived roughly five millennia before Cassian reaches Aurivallis. The current Xandor is Xarion's father in the current Teryndalan branch.
After leaving the high-arbiter seat, Xandor remains active in Teryndal through Xarion's absences. He reassures Xarion after the cataclysm, manages Teryndal while Xarion is missing, alerts Aldar to threats such as the darkness near Velundra, backs a new high-arbiter election, and urges Xarion to return to Xelora and Xirane when he comes back to Irrathis.
