When Naryon became high arbiter of Teryndal, Pontarius temporarily resumed the office of archon of water. He nevertheless welcomed a voyage with Jin Leiyun, Tianlei, Thalia and Rhalyn to seek the first elementalist. Pontarius brought them aboard his flagship and steered into the storm surrounding their destination while Jin and Tianlei opened a path through it.
