The war with Ulzathir
Marcellus accompanied Eira, Kaelion, Xarion and Kazehiro into the Plains of Eternity. He carried Kazehiro and scouted Tharendur in disguise. When the group was ambushed by Rahmavir's mages, he fought alongside Kazehiro. The two later fled south to Solvarria and joined Hadrian and Anshar, helping secure Thalassai's conquest of the nation.
After the essence bomb struck Thalassai, Marcellus led rescue efforts in Pyrenis with Ignaros. He then infiltrated Ishtanûr with Cassian and Zayren, disguising all three as Ulzathir mages.
During the battle, Marcellus protected Cassian and used his blinks to move him clear of attacks. He brought Cassian close enough to strike Khauren and caught him after he killed the god. When Gabriel's essence bomb detonated, Marcellus steered the survivors' windweaver away. He later accompanied Cassian to Anshar's coronation in Ishtanûr.
In Thalena's Shores of Eternity, Marcellus helps evacuate people from Maraveth through the gate. She later lists him among those she has lost.
