When the Xalmyrran visitors arrived in Tequaltor, she taught them about Thalcoris and helped Eira find books on Thalassai. She showed Eira the library's hidden storeroom, where she kept The Eleven Stories of Old, which she dismissed as myths. She also gave her The Stories of Thalassai.
Amaril had been affected by Xoh’Metztli's control over the Tenari. When the spell was broken, her memories returned and she struggled to understand what she and the other Tenari had done. She began healing the fallen students at the war school, then accompanied Kaelion and Tazarin to Xalatun. There, she reattached Zayren's severed arm and treated the surviving citizens after Lythariel's attack.
