Erenmyr is one of the four nations of Xalmyrra, north of Teryndal, and is led by Orin. Its swamps and dense forests give way to green hills and fields of purple and pink flowers. Along its long northern coastline, white beaches meet the sea, with mountains rising to the east. Divine mages known for healing and shields live here, and giant cuddly frogs inhabit the swamps.
Valcirae, Orin’s home, is a major city hidden within a forest and partly built into trees. It houses Valcirae Magic School. Lirathen is a smaller trade hub near the Teryndal border. A wooded island off Erenmyr’s western shore holds a gate to Thalcoris on Xolterra.
The cataclysm left dark scars across the forests and fields, but towns continued functioning. Valcirae suffered little damage.

History
Some of the ancient atraxi settled in Valcirae. Their language spread through regional trade and became Xalmyrran. During Aldred and Jorhan’s conflict, Belanor and the four national leaders guided thousands of refugees through northwestern Erenmyr to the western island gate.
Thalena kept a wooden home in Erenmyr’s swamps in the last two Xalmyrran cycles, studying with Hrzai and the frogs. Erenmyr’s army fought in the War of Scars, which she halted as Arcanis. In the final cycle, she first instigated the war after it failed to begin on its own.

Northern invasion
A fleet from Thiravos, Theryssa, and their island allies invaded the northern coast with Gabriel, Nerissa, and Nero. Orin refused foreign rule, and Xalmyrran forces defended alongside Tazarin. Nerissa and Nero raised a tsunami, while combatants on both sides drained the surrounding vegetation for essence. Floodwaters filled fissures across the devastated coastal battlefield.
Lucilla killed Nerissa by severing her connection to the God Realm, freeing Orin from her spell. The defenders prevailed, and trade and diplomatic agreements were subsequently signed, mostly negotiated by Lucilla. Valcirae remained active within its green woods.
