History
Varnhallow and the Order
As Lysaraine's patriarch, Kira met Eira, Kaelion and Jin in Varnhallow before she knew of the Order. Michael later assigned her other duties.
Kira flew the disguised Order forces during their intervention in Jeremiah's war. She brought Jeremiah back toward Jazarel after his recovery, then manoeuvred the skyship away from tidal waves and electrified water while Mia and Zero fought. She also coordinated the fleet's positions. After the battle, she returned the survivors to Rimvold and helped Isandriel take Sephara to a prison beneath the Great Hall.
Kira piloted Thalion's flagship when the Order fought Raphael and Eremion. As Thalion prepared to leave the ship for his last battle, he entrusted Helena to Kira and ordered her to take Helena through Haverloch to Ulzathir. She followed his orders despite Helena's pleas to turn back, holding her as they mourned the loss of their friend.
Helena and Frederick
In Rimvold, Kira and Frederick promised to accompany and care for Helena. The three travelled to Haverloch, where Kira and Frederick checked on the Axial Concord while Helena visited Sariel. When they continued to Ulzathir, they arranged for the flagship to return to Rimvold. Kira traced golden enchantments over Helena, who then used aether magic to fly with Kira, Frederick and their baggage.
In Ishtanur, Kira and Frederick quietly destroyed the remaining texts about Malverand. The two had been partners for years, mostly keeping their relationship private; Thalion knew and had assigned them to work together. As they grew old, Frederick chose to overload his essence and end his life. Kira did the same a few days later.
Relationships
- Thalion: Her friend and commander. Kira considered the Order a family and honoured his final instruction to protect Helena.
- Helena: Kira cared for her after Thalion's death, comforting her and travelling with her to Ishtanur.
- Frederick: Her partner and fellow caretaker of Helena. They worked and travelled together for years and died within days of each other.
