Lysaraine was a port city in Varnhallow, beside the Navan Sea in Eastern Valrindor. Its busy skyship docks handled trade and food distribution.
A fine stone road carried mechanical wagons and carts toward the city. It widened through the crowded outskirts and led into streets with a broad central square, an inn and a divine healer’s building. The city was calmer than Varnhallow's militarized interior.
A divine patriarch known as the Mad Mage governed Lysaraine. Travelers were warned to be careful around him because of his perceptiveness. Varnhallow ceased to exist when its temporal barrier collapsed.

History
Kira governed Lysaraine before Michael gave her other duties and assigned Jin to the city. Jin trained in administration under Michael and kept his identity concealed. Citizens called him the Mad Mage of Lysaraine, and Kazehiro assisted him.
After years in Varnhallow, Jin left with Eira and Kaelion. Wilfred had gone ahead to tell Michael that Lysaraine would need a new patriarch. Varnhallow ceased to exist when its temporal barrier collapsed.
