When Pyrathalor attacked Cassian near Chronasis, Calythos raised an earth barrier around Thalena's singularity and supplied her with essence alongside Naryon. He carried Pyrathalor's captured essence in Cyrena's collapsed divine shield, brought it to the Nexus Research Center, and handed it to Cassian to power the gate. He then stayed to monitor the chamber's stability.
