Valrindor Atlas Timeline

Soltheris is a kingdom in Xalmyrra, ruled by King Aurion. Its capital, Zeydrith, is a center of magical engineering and the work of the Artisan Guild.

Geography and Technology

Soltheris's green lands extend east of Lake Velisyth, where its borders meet those of Teryndal, Erenmyr and Keldara. Mountains lie to the north and east. The eastern range is covered by constant storms, with no road through it.

The kingdom uses airships, while the Artisan Guild develops defensive enchantments and magical devices, including orreries. Zeydrith's dark towers and streets bear constellation patterns, and the Luminar River passes through the capital.

History

Therion and Aurion

Therion ruled Soltheris before Aurion. Xoh’Tenol summoned him to Thalcoris, where he took the name Tazarin; his disappearance left Aurion to succeed him. Aurion supported the Artisan Guild and devoted the kingdom's resources to magical engineering.

Cataclysm and War

Volcanoes erupted in Soltheris's mountains, the Luminar River flooded, and black spikes tore through the land. Zeydrith's shields protected the capital, but Seralyth died in the disaster.

Teryndal blamed Aurion's orrery and demanded that he abdicate and surrender Soltheris. Eira ended the confrontation by unleashing darkness that consumed soldiers from both armies and destroyed the orrery.
