Government and technology

The Brighthaven Triarch governs from the Spire of Triumvirate in Radiance Prime. The island produces walking constructs, metallic boats and skyships using ancient Malverand technology. Constructs defend the capital's walls, while skyships patrol above them.

History

Alistair Voss used Vianna's resemblance to Pyrathalor to portray her as the god's returning incarnation. Isaac protected her, and a civil war broke out over his opposition to Voss.

Isaac obtained help from Morozkaya in exchange for fleet support and trade. His allies disabled the southern construct defenses, allowing Isaac, Vianna, Pyrathalor and Morozkayan mages into the island. They stormed the Spire of Triumvirate, where Vianna killed Voss. A new triarch governed under Isaac's control. Brighthaven subsequently supplied ships for the allied attack on Thalassai.

History

Malverand and Pyrathalor

Brighthaven was a Malverand province under Isandriel, producing constructs for the empire's military, trade and everyday use. He made Radiance Prime his capital, then entrusted the island's government to Alistair and the triarch.

Viviana guided Thalor to channel essence into a god core, awakening him as Pyrathalor. The eruption of fire and frost destroyed Radiance Prime's industrial district and collapsed the Spire of Triumvirate. Alistair ordered Isandriel and his companions to leave the island.

Brighthaven was a Malverand province under Isandriel, producing constructs for the empire's military, trade and everyday use. He made Radiance Prime his capital, then entrusted the island's government to Alistair and the triarch.

In 2085 AX, Viviana guided Thalor to channel essence into a god core, awakening him as Pyrathalor. The eruption of fire and frost destroyed Radiance Prime's industrial district and collapsed the Spire of Triumvirate. Alistair ordered Isandriel and his companions to leave the island.

Alistair organized the rescue and rebuilding of Radiance Prime. He pledged to fortify Brighthaven against another such destruction, even at the cost of isolating it. The capital and its spire were rebuilt, and the nation developed more constructs, skyships and weapons for its defense.

Alistair's government

Alistair trained elite mages as spies and sent them across Valrindor under the shared name Alistair. Their headquarters in Brighthaven appeared to be the triarch's offices. He left Voss to administer the island during his travels. Voss added warnings of Pyrathalor's reincarnation to the history taught to the people.

Thalena's account

In Thalena's Shores of Eternity, an asteroid struck Haverloch, destroyed Axanaxa and triggered a tsunami that swallowed Stormhaven and other coastal cities. Brighthaven sank completely underwater after the impact's aftershocks.
