Pyrathalor's destruction of the city
Pyrathalor destroyed Radiance Prime with fire and frost. Brighthaven taught the destruction as a warning against gods.
Alistair Voss's rule
Alistair Voss ruled alone from the Spire of Triumvirate. Isaac organized an assault with Vianna, Pyrathalor and mages from Morozkaya. His allies disabled Brighthaven's construct defenses to admit them, while Kazimir's mages surrounded the spire with elemental barriers.
Vianna killed Voss, ending his rule. A new Brighthaven triarch took office.

Isandriel planned to rebuild and rename a capital in southern Malverand as Radiance Prime. Its construct industrial district made walking constructs for patrols and everyday work, as well as weapons. Engineers fitted metal plates around essence engines in large workshops.
Isandriel had made an obsidian being but failed to awaken it with his own essence. Viviana held the burning frost crystal between her palm and the being's and told it to channel essence into the core. The being awakened as Pyrathalor, and the eruption of fire and frost destroyed the industrial district and spread across Radiance Prime. The upper half of the Spire of Triumvirate broke off and fell into the city.
The destruction became the basis for Brighthaven's hostility toward gods.

The destruction occurred in 2085 AX. Alistair, whom Isandriel had appointed to administer Brighthaven, banished Isandriel and Pyrathalor. Survivors cleared ruins and began repairs, and a new triarch formed within months. Radiance Prime and the Spire of Triumvirate were fully rebuilt before Alistair returned from his travels. Schools taught the destruction as the basis for Brighthaven's hatred of gods.
Alistair left Voss, an administrator with a nearly identical appearance, to govern Brighthaven in his absence.

Thalena's account
In Thalena's Shores of Eternity, an asteroid struck Haverloch. Its aftershocks sank Brighthaven, submerging Radiance Prime.
