Khezriya oversees military matters on Ulzathir's council under Zain. She projects tactical maps with divine magic.
History
Khezriya prepared the army for Zain's invasion of Solvarria and directed the troops when their sandships reached its border. She accepted his instruction to avoid unnecessary harm to the land, then asked how to deal with resistance.
After Solvarria fell and Archibald became its ruler, Zain left Khezriya to complete the remaining work of the occupation while he returned to Ishtanûr.
Khezriya is a daughter of Ozaith and a divine mage who served as the military commander on Ulzathir's council. She supported her brother Zain through his conquests and the war against Thalassai and Haverloch. After Ulzathir's defeat, she was imprisoned alongside her sister Ishqari.
Appearance
Khezriya has golden hair and teal eyes.
Magic
Khezriya heals injuries, raises divine shields and projects tactical maps with divine essence. She spent days treating Zain after his defeat at Rimvold, restoring his damaged body and regrowing a missing finger. During the later battle for Ishtanûr, she also raised a cosmic barrier.
History
Khezriya organized the army for Zain's invasion of Solvarria, directing the troops as they reached the border. After Solvarria fell, Zain left her to finish the occupation while he returned to Ishtanûr. She subsequently planned the movement of Ulzathir's forces toward Brahzûn for the attack on Rimvold promised to Raphael.
In Rimvold, she managed logistics with Qadir. Zain sent them back to Ishtanûr with more than half the army to reinforce Zhulkar. Khezriya directed the counter bombardment that helped hold the capital against Haverloch and the Order.
After Zain returned badly wounded, Khezriya healed him and helped plan a counterattack on Thalassai. She urged a show of strength at Lumenbury before the surprise raid. Her divine senses confirmed that Zain's shard did not feel like Ozaith, and she supported his pact with Khauren after he explained it. She stayed behind when Zain, Qadir and Zhulkar left for Thalassai, then healed Zain again when he returned.
As Thalassai's fleet advanced on Ishtanûr, Khezriya raised shields, positioned the defenders and rallied them against the invaders. Afterward, Anshar kept her confined alongside Ishqari because he would not subject Khezriya to eternal solitude.
Relationships
- Zain: Her brother, who ruled Ulzathir. She commanded his military, treated his injuries and defended his rule, arguing that he served the people well.
- Anshar and Ishqari: Her siblings. Anshar opposed Zain and later took responsibility for Ulzathir, while Ishqari remained on Zain's side with Khezriya.
