Overview
Archibald is a Solvarrian collaborator with Zain and Ulzathir. He speaks for the separatists who welcome Zain at the Solvarrian border, prepares Lumenbury as the offensive base against Solvarria, and is installed as ruler after Ulzathir takes the country.
Appearance
Archibald is tall, with long white hair and a groomed white beard. He wears regal violet-and-white robes when he meets Zain and violet robes during the defense of Ishtanur.
History
Solvarrian separatists approach Zain after Solvarria's leaders demand answers for the losses suffered in the Thalassai invasion. When Zain's army reaches the border, Archibald confirms that Lumenbury is ready and pledges loyalty if Zain keeps his word. Lumenbury becomes Ulzathir's primary base, and Archibald's people follow Zain's commands as the Ulzathir Invasion of Solvarria grinds toward Sol and Redcliffe.
After Solvarria falls, Archibald becomes its ruler under Ulzathir's victory. He continues reporting to Ulzathir. His researchers help Ishqari adapt Solvarrian technology, and his engineers assist Ulzathir with a rail link between the two nations.
Archibald later brings advanced divine shield generators into the defense of Ishtanur. He stands behind Zhulkar with Khezriya during negotiations at the shielded heart of the city. After Thalassai completes a full takeover of Solvarria and cuts its trade lines with Ulzathir, he remains at Lumenbury with Ulzathir-backed forces while high-level Thalassai mages, including Marcellus, prevent an immediate push back into the country. Khezriya is assigned near the city as his Ulzathir reinforcement. Thalassai later withdraws from Solvarria, and Archibald remains aligned with Ulzathir at Lumenbury.
