Drashir was a mage from Ereshval's northern frontier and Vashir's twin brother. The brothers commanded Ereshval's forces during the expedition to the Plains of Eternity.

Expedition to the Plains of Eternity
Drashir and Vashir wanted to investigate the plains' expansion and the beasts attacking Ereshval's border. They offered their home in Qarezh to Kaelion and Jin, and helped prepare a fleet for the expedition. They favored magical propulsion over sails because the plains' unpredictable magic made sailing dangerous.
When the northern wall was overrun, Tharezh sent the brothers to evacuate the border villages. They returned after completing the evacuation and commanded Ereshval's fleet into the plains. Their experience at the frontier helped them adapt their spells, and Thamrielle assigned Igor to practice alongside them.
Battle against Myrravel
Drashir and Vashir led Ereshval's army against Myrravel. Drashir rode through the enemy ranks within tornadoes of sand and fire, filling their lungs with sand while leaving his allies unharmed. The brothers' army then rounded up the survivors from Myrravel and the traitors from Ulzathir.
Drashir carried Viviana, Gren, and Tal'Massar across the battlefield on a sand tornado. He lifted the wounded Isandriel away from approaching lava and brought him along. When a tsunami overtook the area, Benedict and the patriarchs rescued them aboard a skyship.
Drashir pressed them to save his people and reunited with Vashir during the flight. Qarezh had been destroyed. At Rimvold, the brothers began discussing how to rebuild their homeland.

Sultan of Ereshval
Drashir and Vashir became Ereshval's sultans and rebuilt much of Qarezh. They joined the Order and agreed to conceal the true history of the city's destruction. Statues in Qarezh commemorate the brothers and their rebuilding of the capital.
