Deylin's Village is a small, unnamed settlement in Erenmyr, just north of Lirathen. Modest houses stand among gently rolling green hills. Deylin and Ilyra's home is near the outskirts, and Lythariel came from the village.
History
In the previous Xalmyrran cycle, Deylin settled here and built a well. He and Ilyra made their family home in the village, where Eira was born before being taken to Irrathis.
After Eira's darkness outburst, Deylin brought her here for shelter. Cassian and Lythariel carried her west while her parents stayed to oppose her pursuers. Kaelion later found the village empty and the ground scarred by a battle.

Deylin and Silas fought Jareth and Amos outside the village, damaging the surrounding terrain before the pursuers withdrew. Kaelion later found the village empty, though townspeople were present when Renneth and Maric subsequently visited.
Hidden gate
Guided to the family home by Orin, Renneth discovered a concealed gate beneath it. A latch beneath a rug gives access to the cellar, where an opening behind a wall connects to a narrow passage and a high domed chamber containing the semicircular gate.
