Overview
Rowan leads the Durakarn military. He is a massive, rugged, bearded man with a broad chest and thick forearms, and he commands guards, mages, and skyships during Durakarn's response to Jorhan.
History
When Eira, Kaelion, and Jin visit Drakarim, Kaelion and Jin form a strong friendship with Rowan. Eira's group is later welcomed in Brighthaven after they mention Isaac and Rowan.
After Jorhan reaches Durakarn with Brynor, Aurion, Lirien, and Eshmir, Rowan confronts the group and guides them toward a ruined town behind a remaining wall of darkness. Jorhan and Eshmir die when Jorhan drives darkness out of the ruined town, and Rowan then exchanges information with Brynor about Eira's journey, Xalmyrra, the atraxi, and Durakarn's gate.
Rowan agrees to future contact with the leaders of Irrathis. At Drakarim's half-circle gate, he commits Durakarn to attempting to reclaim what was lost and to opposing Aurion if the spiral shard makes him a new god of darkness.
