Rahmavir is a nation in northeastern Valrindor. Its coast has indigo and green grass, yellow and green palms, and rivers carrying trade ships inland. Grain farms occupy cleared land near its river roads.
Rahmavir is divided into smaller regions that generally work together. Its long conflict with the Oracles of Eternity concerns control of the source in the Plains of Eternity. Malverand supported Rahmavir against the plains; Thamrielle commanded its forces there.
Rahmavir is a nation in northeastern Valrindor, west of Zarephon. Its coast has indigo and green grass, yellow and green palms, and rivers carrying trade ships inland. Grain farms occupy cleared land near its river roads.
Government and settlements
Rahmavir is a coalition of hundreds of tribes, each led by a chosen. Chosen from different cities meet in local halls and travel to discuss the nation's affairs. Garadon, in the south, has a hall used by five chosen; the capital is Halvarim.
Garadon's dark stone and polished wood buildings house several families together, with markets, tailors and other necessities inside. Broad streets run between these large communal buildings.
Technology
Rahmavir's ultralight silver skyships have broad wings. Their designs depend less on essence than other nations' ships, trading agility for speed. Its mages use spellblasters, including weapons firing projectiles made with origin magic.
History
Malverand's intervention
Rahmavir's chosen sought control of the source in the Plains of Eternity. They argued that the expanding plains consumed their lands and that seizing the source would stop Abraxas.
Malverand sent Thamrielle and an army to support Rahmavir. Her base stood on the southern coast, south of Garadon. The fighting remained sporadic for years. During a joint attack by Rahmavir and Malverand, Abraxas killed Phariel; Malverand eventually withdrew from Rahmavir.
Capture of the source
With Raphael, Azarion and Eliona, Rahmavir defeated the Oracles of Eternity and took control of the source at Zarephon. Researchers and mages studied its power.

Halvarim extends over inland terrain and along a river and lake. Floating timber buildings stand beside dark stone towers rising from the lakebed. Its lakeport receives trade ships and fishing boats, and its skyship dock can accommodate a small fleet. The capital trades with foreign nations and has an industrial district producing spellblasters.
Garadon's wide, tall buildings combine dark stone and polished wood. Several families live within each structure, with markets, tailors and other necessities inside. This arrangement leaves broad streets between the buildings.
Technology
Rahmavir's silver skyships have ultralight hulls and broad wings. Their speed depends heavily on design rather than essence, though they are less agile than other nations' ships. Silver anti-magic armor equips guards and soldiers.
Halvarim's origin magic school trains gifted children. The practice is suited to people with little essence, who avoid absorbing more while learning it. Origin magic also supplies the rare projectiles used in spell corruptors.

After Raphael's death
Raphael died during the fighting around Cyndarel. Rahmavir sent Ravira to the council in Melandor. She would not commit the nation to its decisions without consulting Rahmavir's collective chosen.
Thalena's account
In Thalena's Shores of Eternity, Gabriel's crystal disaster killed millions and ruined cities in Rahmavir. Civil war broke out among the chosen, and Ravira died.
