Tamara works under Emperor Isandro in Maraveth. After an emergency at Isandro's Palace, Isandro orders her to clean everything up before he returns to the Maraveth Core, and she bows before directing the workers. She later serves among the crew of the emperor's personal spaceship on the trip to Zarephon, and Isandro trusts her and Emilia to keep Maraveth running in his absence.
