Gin carried Maric west into the snowstorm around Gabriel, using his fire to help the other mages while Maric entered the battle. He later carried Maric, Aelius, Vianna and Kren to Kaldaryn ahead of the hurricane and sheltered inside the city as its mages sealed it underground. Gin and Spin later carried troops with the army approaching Azarion's hurricane. Gin later flew toward the lake behind Chronasis with Spin and Glin.
