Overview
Doss is a trusted agent in Alistair's Network and later a Rahmavir chosen. Alistair brings Doss with Zoss and Loss toward the Plains of Eternity when he begins pursuing the source. After the time-distorted failure of the first assault on Zarephon, Doss is still operating in Rahmavir. Over the following centuries, Doss rebuilds the network inside Rahmavir, becomes a chosen, and embeds Alistair's league in Rahmavir's ranks.
Rahmavir Network Work
Doss investigates Rahmavir's history and beliefs, estimates its population in the millions, guides Alistair to his private meeting with Raphael in Halvarim, and establishes Alistair's Rahmavir headquarters. After becoming a chosen, Doss, Alistair, and Zoss create compressed-air cylinders for source dives; Doss later searches for Raphael after he vanishes and oversees the Halvarim meeting preparations with Boss before Alistair moves on Varnhallow.
Zarephon and Cyndarel
While Alistair operates as Alice, Doss switches into Alice's likeness and travels with Severin to maintain Alice's alibi after the destruction of Zarephon. Doss brings back intelligence on Raphael and Gabriel, pilots the skyship to Cyndarel, shadows Myrelia, carries three strange rocks Alice planted earlier, and joins Alice's group through Aldar's darkness veil. Outside the veil, Doss keeps illusions active, senses two distant signatures, and separates from Alistair before the Battle for Cyndarel scatters the survivors.
Abilities and Appearance
Doss is skilled at temporal magic, essence suppression, illusion work, skyship piloting, and field concealment. Doss can reshape into Alice convincingly enough to fool Severin, hide magical traces while moving beyond the veil, sense distant signatures, and pilot a skyship. At Cyndarel, Doss is a shorter woman with green eyes and brown hair.
