Overview
Brahzûn is a large western Ulzathir city. It raises ibrashi, exports wool, produces textiles and clothing, and supplies the robes and textiles Zain's armies need after he takes control of Ulzathir.
Geography and Design
Brahzûn lies in western Ulzathir near the Navan Sea coastline. A main road connects it with Sharûmara, and ibrashi-drawn carts carry wool toward sandships for inland transport. The city sprawls with medium domes, spires, and towers of dark stone with a golden tint. Its central government building is a smaller spiral structure reminiscent of Ulzathir's Council Citadel, and smaller aethership platforms operate around the city.
Zain's Military Use
Nahm sends Virel and Remus to investigate Brahzûn after Zain's takeover. Brahzûn has fully shorn ibrashi, increased wool traffic, black-robed Ulzathir mages, and unusual sandship and aethership movement while it supplies Zain's forces. Zhulkar, Ozaith's child and governor of Brahzûn, intercepts them before they press deeper into the city.
Zain later gathers forces around Brahzûn. Khezriya plans army movements toward the city, Qadir asks Zhulkar to prepare the army, and Zain travels between Ishtanûr and Brahzûn to train with Zhulkar. Sandships and aetherships continue moving through the area. Zhulkar repeatedly wants to return to Brahzûn and its ibrashi farms even after Zain brings him away to duel, prepare the army, and guard captured territory.
