Zhenyu Leiyun is the village elder of Stormbrook in ancient Thundermarch and an ancestor of Jin Leiyun. Thalion, posing as Tianlei, heals Zhenyu after darkness creatures maul his leg, and the Leiyun name prompts Thalion to leave Sephara in Stormbrook to teach him and the village lightning magic.
Later Stormbrook Years
Zhenyu is still in Stormbrook with Sephara when Ignatius, John, Zero, and Kallion arrive under Thalion's orders. He carries a baby during the visit. John struggles with meeting his own ancestor.
