History
Julian studied at Radiance Prime Magic School before working alongside his father. He reassured Vianna when she struggled at school and supported her training under Isaac, though he questioned the severity of the lessons.
Isaac helped the family flee Brighthaven during its civil war. They settled in Hengzhou. During the shaper attack, Julian and his parents fought while Vianna hid in their home. His parents died, and Vianna believed Julian had died with them.
Julian survived and returned to Brighthaven. He later found Vianna in Kaldaryn and offered her a home with him. He refused to let Kren accompany them, saying Brighthaven's triarch required permission for foreign visitors.
Julian took her through Borovia to a boat with a crew of mages. When she tried to escape, he ordered the crew to seize her and attacked her with fire. Pyrathalor intervened, killing the crew and severing Julian's legs. Julian blamed Vianna for their exile and said Alistair Voss had ordered him to bring her back. Vianna beheaded him with an ice blade.
Relationships
- Vianna: Julian protected and encouraged his younger sister during their school years. He later blamed her for the family's exile from Brighthaven and betrayed her after their reunion.
