Overview
Feng Raoyun, usually addressed as Emperor Feng, rules Thundermarch from Stormpeak and the Celestial Palace. His court works through advisors such as Wei Lianxu, commanders such as Yingshui, and Thundermarch's mages and soldiers. His reign includes Thundermarch's divided response to attacks from Linsothar and Shaoying near Cloudrift, Ren Wuye's collapse, Tianlei's absence, and Zharrek's shapers threatening Raindawn.
Reign and Raindawn
During Jin Leiyun's youth, Feng's authority barely reaches southern settlements such as Stormbrook or embattled cities such as Cloudrift. Jin blames Feng, Ren Wuye, and Tianlei for Thundermarch's abandonment, and Tianlei stops Jin from killing Feng after Jin receives the lightning shard.
Feng later receives Eira, Kaelion, Khoradyn, Astheron, and Rhalyn while Garrik's coalition moves against Shroudvale. Isrynn has gone toward Laizhou for Garrik's army, and Feng sends Wei Lianxu with Thundermarch's strongest mages to serve under Garrik against Shroudvale and Zharrek's shapers.
When Jin returns to Stormpeak after restoring Tianlei, Feng thanks him and brings him into the planning against the shapers. With Raindawn under imminent shaper threat, Feng asks Jin to save the city and accepts blame for Ren's collapse and Cloudrift's abandonment. After Ren's death and Tianlei's disappearance force Thundermarch's cities to unite or split apart, Feng mostly reunites the nation.
