Jazarel Battle

event

Overview

The Jazarel Battle destroyed Jazarel and ended the Jazarel Empire as Jeremiah's breakaway power. Thalion Zenith engineered the convergence: Raphael besieged the city, Jeremiah returned to defend it, Uriandel advanced on the Grand Jazarel Consulate, and Eremion was drawn in after Jeremiah was blamed for Morindel's destruction.

Isandriel later took responsibility for the destruction and carried the title Unmaker. Thalion's plan brought Raphael, Jeremiah, Uriandel, Eremion, Isandriel, and the Order's lake team into the same battlefield.

Destruction of Jazarel

Jazarel initially held behind cosmic barriers, skyships, weaponized constructs, and the consulate's defenses. The guardian forces fought around the city. Thalion, Isandriel, Benedict, Igor, and allied mages reached Jazarel Lake. Igor broke the terrain around the lake, Benedict controlled the escaping water with ice, and the released lake became an immense tidal wave.

The wave swept south into Jazarel, shattered the city's barriers, consumed most of the capital, and devastated towns and villages across the Jazarel Empire. Millions died, and the battlefield became a wasteland of floodwater, ice, lava, ash, corruption, and ruined stone.

After the flood at Jazarel, the remaining guardian forces continued combat around the city. Zero and Mia attacked the weakened Jeremiah and Uriandel. Thamrielle arrived and raised a sudden volcano near northern Jazarel, turning the Jazarel Battle into a series of fatal reversals around Helena's abyss.

Hidden Sequence

Helena's abyss repeatedly reset parts of the Jazarel Battle when Helena, Zero, or Thalion died. Thalion retained the clearest memory of the loops, with Tianlei helping him navigate them. Zero retained fragments, and Isandriel sensed something wrong afterward. Several loops killed Raphael and Eremion. The final outcome left both alive.

The final stable sequence saved Helena and Zero. Mia died protecting Helena from Thamrielle's lava. Thalion and Isandriel defeated Thamrielle and kept her alive for questioning.

Aftermath

Isandriel killed Uriandel and Jeremiah with balance magic after their Malverand hearts could no longer protect them. Jeremiah died after confronting Thalion and Isandriel over Jazarel's destruction.

The Jazarel Battle left the Jazarel Empire broken and the land around Jazarel in ruins. Isandriel took public blame for the wave. Igor and later Benedict helped rebuild Jazarel and its surrounding regions. Raphael and Eremion survived the final outcome and later moved against Skarnheim and the Order.

Early public accounts also credited Isandriel with Thamrielle's death at Jazarel. That account was false: Thamrielle survived in Order custody, later lived in Rimvold under guard, and died only after taking the source in the Plains of Eternity.
