Novaris is a city on Meridian and the Malverand Intergalactic Empire’s capital for the Hyperion system and surrounding territory. Dusty yellow soil surrounds the city, whose cyan gray buildings combine processed Kytherite remains with steel.
Tall, broad, rounded structures line ordered streets, with holograms advertising shops and devices. The city library provides access to archived information through computers; fragile original works are preserved rather than handled by the public. During storms, shields move across the city like a dome.

Obelisk chamber
An elevator beneath a spacious hall descends deep into the planet’s crust. The chamber contains three towering stone obelisks that bend toward one another above an inscribed platform. When Kaelion touched one of them, the inscriptions flared purple. He then blinked, creating a shockwave that shook the chamber. Eira healed his injuries.
