History
Foundation and destruction
Jeremiah and his closest advisors founded Jazarel during the expansion of Malverand. It became the capital of the Jazarel Empire after his secession. The ancient city had glass skybridges, rail vehicles and constructs that cleaned and patrolled its streets.
During the Jazarel Battle, Raphael attacked Jazarel from the north while Uriandel bombarded the Grand Jazarel Consulate. Thalion planned a flood from Jazarel Lake. Igor and other earth mages excavated its shoreline, while Benedict and the ice mages held back the water. Isandriel destroyed the ice barrier, releasing the lake toward the city. The flood devastated Jazarel and the surrounding lands. Isandriel then killed Jeremiah, and the battle left the capital scorched and ruined.
Rebuilding
Igor helped rebuild the former empire’s lands after the battle. Jazarel rose again on slopes smoothed by the flood.
