Thalion ordered Balthazar and other patriarchs to protect Dorian and Rowenna. When Vianna came to take them back to the Order, they chose to remain in the village. Balthazar stayed with them and kept contact with Thalion.
Dorian proposed the name Kyranthos, and Balthazar made the naming official. Dorian and Rowenna became the first diarchs of Morozkaya, with Balthazar serving alongside them. When Viviana brought Pyrathalor to the village, Balthazar was there to receive him.
Balthazar later brought Thalion a message confirming that Dorian and Rowenna were well and Kyranthos was thriving. Thalion sent him back with permission for them to stay.
