Arashiiwa is the clan leader of Hanamizu in Shanari. He is an older man with a white beard and wears white robes.
History
After Eremion's scouts were detected in Shanari, Nerissa's wielder warned Arashiiwa and his people to stay away from mainland Valrindor. They followed that warning and made no agreement with the scouts.
He later hosted Renneth and Maric, who described events on the mainland and the development of faster airships. He expressed interest in diplomatic relations if those ships could cross the ocean, and asked them to convey Shanari's interest when they returned.
Although he initially refused, Arashiiwa and his clansmen joined the fleet assembled by Thiravos and Theryssa to invade Xalmyrra. After the invasion ended, he traveled with Kazehiro to the Pelagia consulate for diplomatic talks. There, he chose Kazehiro to represent Shanari on the Valrindor Council.
