It was formerly Morindel Lake. Zero trapped Eremion in a singularity while Kallion conjured a sun over ancient Morindel. The singularity absorbed the sun and exploded, severing the land bridge separating the lake from the ocean. Seawater flooded the surrounding lands, expanding the lake into a sea and leaving part of the old city submerged.
