Arcanis Village was a settlement in northwestern Haverloch, near the Navan Sea and the port of Valalav. It lay just outside Varnhallow's temporal bubble.
The settlement was more than two millennia old. Its inhabitants worshipped an ancient immortal man.
Layout and gate
Villagers farmed the surrounding fields with the help of lesser mages. The village lacked the rigid symmetry of Axanaxa. A large tree and a bench stood in its central square.
A door in a mound near the square led down to a chamber reinforced with steel containing a semicircular gate. The edge of Varnhallow's temporal bubble crossed the chamber and made the gate unstable.
Destruction
When Isandriel and his companions emerged after Varnhallow collapsed, an illusion concealed the already destroyed village. Two mages in white ambushed them. The fighting left the surrounding land blackened, cratered and partly molten.

When Isandriel and his companions emerged after Varnhallow collapsed, an illusion concealed the already destroyed village. Azarion and Eliona ambushed them. The fighting left the surrounding land blackened, cratered and partly molten. Water from the Navan Sea flooded the craters, forming streams. The underground gate remained functional after Varnhallow's disappearance.
