Overview
Aemrith is a city in Teryndal, within Xalmyrra. It sits near snowy mountain peaks and is close enough to the sea that travelers can depart west from it by boat.
Geography
Aemrith is set at the base of massive snowy mountains and built into steep terrain. It has snow-coated rooftops and cliffs, and Cassian later travels through the frozen peaks near the city.
History
Aldar was born in Aemrith and later considers retiring there. At seventeen, Cassian earns recognition after traveling the frozen peaks near Aemrith and proving himself as a combat mage. During the cataclysm, Xarion sends Draven to Aemrith, and Jin and Tianlei stabilize the city before returning to Irrathis.
