Large serpents are serpent-shaped darkness creatures encountered during the renewed darkness outbreak in southern Thalassai and its islands.
They attacked Naryon’s expedition alongside wolf-like beasts and half-formed humanoid creatures. Pontarius and other skilled fighters aboard helped the expedition survive. After hearing Naryon’s report, Thalena ordered the legions briefed on darkness beasts, using records Jin Leiyun had updated during his stay in Thalassai.
