Dragons are powerful magical beasts of the Plains of Eternity and the wild regions around Myrravel. They threaten travelers from the air.
Description
Dragons are enormous winged creatures whose wings and roars dominate the sky. A dragon near the edge of the Plains sends wind and tremors through the grass with its cry, and another soars high above the marching army moving toward Abraxas.
Frost dragons use ice attacks. One frost dragon attacks an army from above by raining fist-sized ice shards, dropping the temperature, and covering the land in snow and frost.
Behavior & Ecology
Dragons patrol the skies of the Plains of Eternity and are fiercely territorial. Attacks from dragons and astragons can force travelers to abandon steady flight and move more carefully through the region.
Dragons are creatures of Myrravel. They protect their young, attack Abraxas from time to time, and live alongside defended Myrravel cities in peace.
History & Lore
Myrravel has vast trees and dragons, and the kingdom uses a calendar named for dragons. Dragons also belong to the essence-shaped ecology of the Plains of Eternity, where life, magic, essence, and essence-infused creatures originate.
Dragons and astragons both belong among essence-infused plains creatures.
