Serekhai is a nation of steppelands in northern Valrindor, far north of Rahmavir. Its capital, Orukhad, stands on massive wheels. The city moves across the steppes when local resources are exhausted and returns once the land has recovered.
Government and Trade
Torukhan rules Serekhai as khagan. Its diverse population trades with Rahmavir. Wooden trading ships carry yellow sails. Serekhi is spoken in Serekhai and widely used in Rahmavir alongside Malverine.
History
The steppelands were underwater during the Malverand era. Rahmavir's guardians helped Serekhai survive, and Torukhan maintained its alliance with Rahmavir in recognition of that help.
Serekhai sent a regiment to support Rahmavir. During the Battle for Cyndarel, Torukhan and his commanders supported Raphael against Garrik’s army. As darkness spread into northern Valrindor, Torukhan sought to close the source rather than keep its flow of essence. His forces fought alongside Gabriel and Eliona in Ulzathir. Torukhan and the Serekhai fighters withdrew after the allied army was ambushed by shard wielders.
Torukhan represented Serekhai at the founding meeting of the Valrindor Council.
