Nereyne is a child of Brynor and Mirael and the sibling of Braylen. She spends time at Irrathis Magic School, where she and Braylen play with Xirane after Xarion's disappearance. Brynor regards Nereyne as a prodigy. When he seals himself underground to contain an essence bomb, he thinks of Braylen and Nereyne and expects that Nereyne is unlikely to have outgrown him before he returns.
