Mahina is a pale-haired girl and librarian in Aurivallis. Under Xoh'Metztli's control, she greets Cassian and Arinella with a moon blessing, guides them to old Morvayne records, and retrieves the Wanderer's book, The Eleven Stories of Old. During an earlier visit to the city archive, Jin entrusted her with a far-reaching book of myths and history. After Cassian destroys Xoh'Metztli, Arinella reunites with Mahina, whose personality has changed with the rest of Aurivallis's freed people.
