History
Lothar founded Lumeria as Valrindor's first nation and ruled from Avalon, which he helped establish. Its scholars explored other lands while the nation prospered. He later founded a separate Lumeria in another Valrindor, also with a capital named Avalon. Doors linked the two worlds until raiders passed through one and burned a village near Avalon, prompting him to close them. Succession wars later divided the two nations: one chose a new ruler, while Lothar resumed rule in the other.
Bernard accepted Severin's recommendation to attend the Valrindor Council in Melandor. Lumeria's delegates were interested in the proposed railway connections because of the mountains and plains obstructing travel south.
