Tyson is a researcher at the lake facility inside Zarephon, where Amos brings Thalena to examine the essence-dense lakebed rift. He is stationed at a nearby terminal during Thalena's interface with the protected computer system, and his name is embroidered on his coat. Tyson later works beside Luke among the scientists on Eamon's feed during the enlarged-rift emergency.
