Large land snakes are dangerous creatures of the Plains of Eternity. During Viviana and Gren's march toward Myriandel, one suddenly attacks and swallows several members of the marching army. Other warped threats, including an aggressive astragon, are driven off or flee quickly. The snake causes the crossing's only named casualty event.
