Overview
Kaldramir Kaldaros is a historical Keldaran supreme general whose knowledge of the cycles leads him to start the War of Scars.
History
In one cycle, Belanor reaches Kaldramir near Varentis with knowledge of the cycles, the storms around Xalmyrra, the darkness, and the outside world. Kaldramir responds by launching the War of Scars across Xalmyrra. The War of Scars burns cities and villages, kills millions, and draws in armies from Keldara, Soltheris, Erenmyr, and Teryndal.
The War of Scars repeats across two cycle histories. The first occurrence begins with Belanor bringing Kaldramir the truth. The second begins with Thalena intervening so the War of Scars still occurs.
The War of Scars ends when Thalena acts under the Arcanis legend, descends over the battlefield on Glin in astragon form, and forces the armies to stop. The Eleven Stories of Old preserves fragments of Kaldramir, the War of Scars, and the cycles.
More than a century later, Xarion, Maric, Renneth, Durvek, Cassian, and Kaelion encounter or discuss signs that Kaldramir knew the world was repeating.
